Helical gears

Helical gears are the ideal solution for transmitting torque at higher speeds while ensuring smooth and quiet operation. Thanks to the angled teeth, engagement is gradual, which significantly reduces noise and extends the service life of the gear train. Helical gears are therefore widely used in the automotive industry, production lines, machine tools and many types of gearboxes.

With our own manufacturing facilities we can deliver one-off and small-batch production with short lead times and maximum precision. We place great emphasis on an individual approach and reliable cooperation in both development and repeat deliveries.

We specialise in the following methods of producing and grinding helical gearing:

Gear hobbing

—Vertical gear hobbing machines – diameter up to 1,500 mm (5 machines) – helical spur gearing from module 0.6 to module 25

—Vertical gear hobbing machines – diameter up to 3,150 mm (3 machines) – helical spur gearing up to module 30

—Horizontal gear hobbing machines – diameter up to 1,250 mm (4 machines) – helical spur gearing from module 0.6 to module 22, part length up to 5,500 mm

Gear shaping – Fellow, MAAG

—Large MAAG gear shaping machines (4 machines) – external helical spur gearing up to module 36, gear diameter up to 4,000 mm

Gear grinding

—Gear grinding machines (4 machines) – external helical gearing from module 2 to module 30, gear diameter from 40 mm to 2,000 mm
