Worm Gears for Smooth and Reliable Operation

Worm gears are frequently used in food-industry machinery because they provide smooth and quiet operation, high reduction ratios, and a compact transmission design. They are particularly suitable for lifting, positioning, conveying, and other mechanisms where controlled movement and reliable torque transmission are required.

We manufacture worm gears using the gear hobbing process. Our production equipment includes five vertical gear hobbing machines capable of machining gears with diameters of up to 1,500 mm. We manufacture worm gearing from module 2 to module 15.

Custom Gear Manufacturing

Depending on the application, we can manufacture individual gears as well as complete worm gear sets consisting of a worm shaft and worm wheel. Production is available for replacement parts, prototypes, small batches, and repeat series.

Every project is assessed individually according to the required dimensions, gear geometry, material, load, operating speed, and working conditions. If necessary, we can also manufacture replacement components based on an existing part when the original technical documentation is unavailable.
